Developing God's Love

It is vitally important that you develop my love in your life for two reasons: First, in the days ahead, as darkness intensifies, my love will be the only light that will illuminate your pathway. If darkness prevails, you will be in danger of deception that can pull you in a different direction than I have planned for your life.

And secondly, when love is developed it will form a shield of protection from the devastation and destruction in the world. Love will move you out of harm’s way into a secret place of divine protection. In the world, there will be frustration, tribulation, and distress, but for those who are enfolded in my love and display it outwardly, these things will not harm you.

It takes a diligent effort to develop this kind of love—the same effort it takes for a gardener to produce a bountiful harvest. You must guard your heart to keep weeds of strife and offense out that consistently threaten to take over. Then, it is necessary to water and feed love with a consistent supply of my word and by taking time to fellowship with me.

If you are careful to do these things, you will approach the day of Jesus Christ not stumbling or causing others to stumble. Instead, you will lead many out of darkness into the glorious light of my presence.

I am counting on you to shine during these perilous days. If it were not for the illumination that comes from my children, Satan would prevail and my work would fail.

But that’s not what will be as you walk faithfully with me. Love will grow within, and we will surely win!
